A horrifying murder has shocked the residents of Valuka Upazila in Mymensingh, where a mother and her two children were found dead with their throats slit.
Bodies Recovered from Their Home
The incident took place on Monday morning (14 July) in the 7th ward of Valuka Municipality. According to police, the victims were found inside their home with severe injuries to their necks.
The deceased have been identified as:

Moyna Begum (25) – Wife of Rafiq Uddin

Raisa (4) – Their daughter

Nirab (2) – Their son
All three were found dead inside their house in what appears to be a brutal and deliberate act of violence.
Victims Were Living Alone
According to police, Moyna Begum lived in the house with her two young children. It is not yet clear where her husband, Rafiq Uddin, was at the time of the incident. The neighbors informed the police after discovering the tragedy on Monday morning.
Soon after receiving the report, law enforcement officials arrived at the scene and recovered the bodies.

Police Statement on the Incident
Humayun Kabir, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Valuka Model Police Station, confirmed the details and said:
“We recovered three bodies from the house, and all of them had their throats slit. We are still investigating to find out exactly how the murder took place.”
He added that the motive behind the killings is still unknown, and further details will be revealed after a proper investigation.
