The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and the National Board of Revenue (NBR) Taskforce seized 832 vori of gold ornaments from lockers belonging to Sheikh Hasina at Agrani Bank. This information was confirmed by sources on Tuesday night (25 November 2025).
Earlier, on 17 September, the Central Intelligence Cell of NBR had seized these two lockers from Agrani Bank’s main branch in Dilkusha. The lockers were taken for investigation into potential tax evasion. The locker numbers are 751 and 753.

Additional Locker Seized at Pubali Bank
Prior to this, on 10 September, NBR’s Central Intelligence Cell had seized another locker belonging to Sheikh Hasina at Pubali Bank, Motijheel branch. The locker number is 128.
The NBR had initially indicated that the lockers were seized to investigate tax-related issues, and this operation is part of a larger taskforce initiative with ACC to prevent corruption and ensure proper tax compliance.
