From July 1 to July 30, the National Citizen Party (NCP) will observe a month-long program titled (July March to Build the Nation) “Desh Gortey July Podyatra” across Bangladesh.
This announcement was made on Sunday morning (June 29) at a press conference held at the party’s temporary office in Banglamotor, Dhaka. NCP Convenor Nahid Islam shared the details of the program during the event.

He said that “We will begin observing the anniversary of the ‘July Mass Uprising’ from July 1.” “It’s hard to believe that an entire year has passed. We have had our share of achievements, but also faced many challenges. Remembering the historic 36 days of July and August is both our responsibility and a moral obligation.”
The campaign will begin with a visit to the grave of Shaheed Abu Sayeed, marking the formal start of the journey. Named “Desh Gortey July Podyatra,” the campaign will travel across the country before returning to Dhaka. In addition, the NCP will observe “Anti-Discrimination Martyrs Day” on July 16 to honor those who stood against injustice.
