The tourist Ship service on the Cox’s Bazar-Saint Martin route will begin on November 28. This was confirmed by the Additional District Executive Magistrate (ADM) of Cox’s Bazar, Nizam Uddin Ahmed, on Monday evening.
He stated that the tourism company, Carey Sindabad, had applied to the district commissioner for permission to operate tourist ships, which was approved after verification. The Ship will depart from Cox’s Bazar city to Saint Martin Island. However, the exact departure point in Cox’s Bazar has not yet been decided.
According to the Ministry’s decision, a maximum of 2,000 tourists will be allowed to visit the island daily. Additionally, overnight stays on the island will be prohibited in November and February, while tourists will be allowed to stay overnight during December and January.
