The goal is to create a searchable database where users can look up reported scammers and avoid falling victim to fraud.
The founder of Protarak was victimized in a scam and, finding a general lack of resources in the country to address such issues built the platform. The website is now online with a secured domain and Protarak is heavily dependent on community support. More reports mean more value to the platform.
He calls on everybody to contribute by filing reports or spreading the website widely Protarak will try to be an important tool to raise awareness and protect people from fraudsters in Bangladesh.
