No urbanization by destroying environment : Environment Adviser

Urbanization is not acceptable by destroying the environment. Such observation were made by Syeda Rizwana Hassan, environment, forest and climate adviser. He said Rajuk has no accountability and transparency since creation.

On Monday morning (7 October) at the World Settlement Day discussion at Rajouk Building, the climate advisor said that healthy and beautiful cities should be built on advice from young and urban experts. Advisor said settlement means not only home and home, but also liveable location.

During the meeting, Adilur Rahman Khan, a homemade and public works expert, suggested that Rajouk and other city organisations need to be upgraded. Poor housing doesn’t exist in Dhaka. The primary challenge facing the government, this advisor said. He suggested distributing land to city dwellers, neglecting the entire quota.
