North South University (NSU) is set to introduce its own fleet of air-conditioned buses exclusively for its students, starting from the upcoming academic semester. This new transportation initiative aims to provide a safer, more comfortable, and reliable commuting experience tailored to the needs of the student body.

As part of the first phase of implementation, six brand-new Mitsubishi AC buses are each with a seating capacity of 32—were spotted earlier today in front of the NSU campus. These buses have been brought in for trial runs, and according to university sources, the first test operation has already been successfully completed.

If the trial phase proceeds smoothly, NSU plans to scale up the project significantly by expanding the fleet to 30 or more buses. The proposed service structure will allocate two dedicated buses to each route to ensure timely and frequent transportation for students.

This initiative will be available exclusively to NSU students. However, specifics regarding bus fares and the final list of covered routes are still under discussion. These details are expected to be finalized in an upcoming administrative meeting.

The university administration believes this step will greatly enhance the daily commute experience and reinforce its commitment to student welfare and campus safety.
