Inquilab Mancha spokesperson and potential independent candidate for the Dhaka-8 constituency, Sharif Osman Hadi, will be taken to Singapore tomorrow afternoon via a medical air ambulance for advanced treatment.

The decision was made today, Sunday, during an emergency conference call held under the directive of Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus. The call involved Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostafa Sarwar Farooki, the Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant on Health Affairs Professor Dr Md Sayedur Rahman, Evercare Hospital specialist Dr Jafar, and Osman Hadi’s brother Omar bin Hadi.

Over the past two days, the government had been in contact with several hospitals in Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia to explore advanced treatment options for Osman Hadi.

Following consultations with Evercare Hospital’s specialist medical team and discussions with the family, the matter was formally conveyed to the Chief Adviser.
