Three miscreants stabbed to death a contractor named Monowar Hossain Tagor (30) in his house in the Sabujbagh area of Sonadanga police station in Khulna. Police said they were acquaintances of Tagor. The attackers have been identified and a drive to arrest them is underway.
A paint contractor named Monowar Hossain Tagor (30) was stabbed to death by miscreants in the Sabujbagh area under Sonadanga police station in Khulna city. The tragic murder took place at his own house at around 9:15 pm on Friday (August 1).
The deceased Monowar Hossain Tagor is a resident of Sabujbagh area and is the son of Jamal Howlader. He was a paint contractor by profession.

According to locals,
Three youths entered Tagor’s house at around 9 pm. Later, while talking to him, one of them stabbed Tagor on the right side of his chest with a knife. When he fell to the ground injured, neighbors came forward after hearing his screams. However, the attackers had fled by then. Later, he was rescued in a seriously injured condition and taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital, where the doctor in charge of the emergency department declared him dead.
Abdul Hai, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Sonadanga Model Police Station of KMP, said,
“The attackers were acquaintances of Tagor. All three of them have been identified. A drive is underway to arrest the accused. They will be brought under the law very soon.
