Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Questions India: “Why Isn’t Sheikh Hasina Being Pushed In?”

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi

BNP’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has raised serious questions about India’s policy of pushing undocumented people into Bangladesh, alleging political bias and double standards.

He spoke on Monday afternoon during a milad and doa event at BNP’s Nayapaltan office in memory of Shafiul Bari Babu, the late former president of Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal, marking his fifth death anniversary.

“Why Not Push Back Sheikh Hasina?” — Rizvi Asks India

During his speech, Rizvi pointed out that many criminals who fled from Bangladesh to India are being protected, while India is allegedly forcing ordinary Bengali-speaking Muslims back into Bangladesh in the name of deportation.

“Sheikh Hasina is also a Bengali Muslim, a citizen of Bangladesh. Why isn’t she being pushed in?”

India Accused of Religious and Political Bias

Rizvi claimed that the Indian government is targeting people based on religion and language, especially Bengali-speaking Muslims, branding them as illegal immigrants even though many have lived in India for generations.

“Only for political interests, Delhi… because they are Muslim and speak Bengali, they’re being labeled as Bangladeshis and pushed in.”

BNP Calls for Pushback Policy by Bangladesh

Rizvi stressed that it is the responsibility of a patriotic and nationalist government to push back those India forces in without valid reason. He also criticized the Indian government’s sheltering of Bangladeshi fugitives, including those involved in financial crimes and violence.

“Criminals, looters, money launderers, and mass murderers from Bangladesh are being sheltered… but they are not being pushed in.”

India Wants to Control Who Governs Bangladesh — Claims Rizvi

The BNP leader alleged that India wants a government in Bangladesh that serves their own interests, regardless of whether the Bangladeshi people support that government.

“They know why this is happening… it doesn’t matter whether people accept the government, as long as it serves their agenda.”

“Sheikh Hasina Was India’s Chosen One”

Rizvi concluded that Sheikh Hasina was positioned by India as a political figure to fulfill their regional goals, and that’s why she continues to enjoy protection even after political changes.

“Sheikh Hasina was that chosen figure… and that’s why even our transport, meaning the airport, was shut down.”
