Satkhira’s Sudipto Debnath nominated for International Children’s Peace Prize

Satkhira’s young social activist Sudipto Debnath (15) has been nominated for the International Children’s Peace Prize-2025, known as the ‘Children’s Nobel’.
The prestigious nomination was made by the Netherlands-based Kids Rights Foundation in recognition of his contribution to child protection, climate justice, and the promotion of education.

Education and family of the young social activist

Sudipto Debnath passed his SSC from Satkhira Government High School in 2025 and is currently studying in class eleven at Satkhira Government College.
He is a resident of Masterpara in the city and is the son of Jamini Kumar Debnath and Sejuti Debnath.

Translation: I am very happy to be nominated for the International Children’s Peace Prize. I love working with children. I would like to work with children more extensively in the future.
