Advisers Creating Instability Ahead of Election
As the national election draws closer, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Miah Golam Parwar said that instability is rising among some advisers of the government and administration.
Golam Parwar made this remark while addressing a student and youth gathering at Pikegacha Government College field in Khulna on Saturday (October 11).

Allegation of Secret Connection with a Party
Golam Parwar claimed that some advisers are secretly collaborating with a political party to help them come to power. he said,
“উপদেষ্টাদের কেউ কেউ গোপনে একটি দলের সঙ্গে যোগসাজশ করে তাদের ক্ষমতায় আনতে কাজ করছেন,”
Translation: “Some advisers are secretly working with a political party to bring them to power,”.
Trust in the Chief Adviser
Despite his concerns, Golam Parwar said Jamaat still trusts the Chief Adviser. He stated,
“আমরা প্রধান উপদেষ্টার ওপর আস্থা রাখি। আশা করি নির্বাচনের আগে দেশে একটি লেভেল প্লেয়িং ফিল্ড তৈরি হবে,”
Translation: “We have trust in the Chief Adviser. We hope a level playing field will be created before the election,”.
Religious Call to Support Jamaat Symbol
Encouraging people to vote for Jamaat’s Daripalla (দাঁড়িপাল্লা) symbol, he used religious phrases as motivation:
“ভোটের বুথে দাঁড়িপাল্লা প্রতীক দেখামাত্র বলবেন ‘বিসমিল্লাহ দাঁড়িপাল্লা’, সিল মেরে বলবেন ‘আলহামদুলিল্লাহ দাঁড়িপাল্লা’, ভোটের কক্ষ থেকে বের হয়ে বলবেন ‘মাশাআলাহ দাঁড়িপাল্লা’।”
Translation: “When you see the Balance symbol, say ‘Bismillah Daripalla’; after casting your vote, say ‘Alhamdulillah Daripalla’; and when leaving the booth, say ‘Mashallah Daripalla’.”

Promise to Eliminate Corruption
He further said that if Jamaat comes to power, the party will prioritize eradicating corruption and developing the country’s economy.
“জামায়াত রাষ্ট্রক্ষমতায় গেলে দুর্নীতি দূর করার পাশাপাশি দেশের অর্থনৈতিক উন্নয়নকে প্রাধান্য দেবে,”
Translation: “If Jamaat comes to power, it will eliminate corruption and give priority to the country’s economic progress.”
Leaders Present at the Event
The event was presided over by Upazila Jamaat Ameer Maulana Saidur Rahman.
Also present were Central Working Committee member and Khulna Regional Assistant Director Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Student Shibir Secretary General Nurul Islam Saddam, and several local and city-level leaders and activists.
