Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi, best known for his role in 3 Idiots, is all set to make his debut in Bengali cinema. The romantic film, titled “Bhalobashar Morshum”, is a joint production between Tollywood and Bangladesh. It is directed by M N Raj, who previously drew attention for his work on Raavan starring Jeet.
Starring alongside Sharman Joshi are two popular actors from Bangladesh- Khairul Basar and Tanjin Tisha. The film also features emerging Tollywood actress Sushmita Chatterjee in a key role.

In an interview with Indian media, Sharman Joshi expressed his excitement about working in a Bengali film for the first time. He said:
“I’ve always been a huge admirer of Satyajit Ray. Bengali cinema has its own charm and beauty. I regularly watch Bengali films, but I never had the opportunity to be part of one until now. For this film, I’m even learning the Bengali language. It’s a completely new experience for me.”
This collaboration marks another significant step in fostering creative partnerships between Tollywood and Dhallywood. Fans are eagerly waiting to see how this diverse international cast brings their chemistry to life on the big screen.
The official release date and shooting schedule for Bhalobashar Morshum have not yet been announced. However, it is expected that filming will begin later this year, with a planned release in early 2026.
