Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus calls election a battlefield
Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus said,
Translation: Elections are a battlefield. Our responsibility is to remain neutral. Only warriors who can maintain peace and order in the elections will be chosen. This (reshuffle in the administration) will be in my hands. Everything necessary will be done to make the elections peaceful and neutral.
He made this statement during a meeting with BNP leaders at the State Guest House Jamuna on Tuesday (October 21) evening. The matter was confirmed in a press release sent by the Chief Advisor’s press wing.

Mirza Fakhrul’s comments
In a briefing after the meeting, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said,
Translation: To make the next election meaningful, impartial, and acceptable, the interim government must be modeled after a caretaker government. That is, this government must assume the role of a caretaker government.
He added that,
Translation: The fascists’ friends should be removed from the secretariat and neutral people should be appointed. To make the election environment fairer, the party people in the judiciary and district administration should also be removed. In addition, the appointment and promotion of the police should be given to neutral people. In addition, the interim government should also maintain neutrality. For this, if there are any party people in the government, they should also be removed.
