Train Service on Khulna-Dhaka Route Officially Launched, Connecting via Padma Bridge

Train services on the Dhaka-Khulna route via the Padma Bridge have officially started. The launch was held on Tuesday at 9:30 AM at Kamalapur Railway Station in Dhaka, led by Railway Advisor Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan and Railway Secretary Md. Fahimul Islam.

The two new trains, ‘Jahanabad Express’ and ‘Ruposhi Bangla Express,’ will run regularly and make travel faster. With the Padma Bridge, the journey between Dhaka and Khulna or Benapole now takes only 3 hours and 45 minutes instead of much longer.

Schedules –

Jahanabad Express (Khulna-Dhaka):

Leaves Khulna: 6:00 AM, reaches Dhaka: 9:45 AM.

Leaves Dhaka: 8:00 PM, reaches Khulna: 11:40 PM.

Stops: Noapara, Singia, Lohagada, Kashiani, Bhanga.

Ruposhi Bangla Express (Benapole-Dhaka):

Leaves Dhaka: 10:45 AM, reaches Benapole: 2:30 PM.

Leaves Benapole: 3:30 PM, reaches Dhaka: 7:10 PM.

Stops: Jessore, Narail, Kashiani, Bhanga.

Each train has 12 coaches and 768 seats.

These trains will make travel between Dhaka, Khulna, and Benapole faster and more comfortable for everyone.
