Turkey’s Nigella Group wants to do business in Bangladesh

Nigella World, a well-known Turkish company, is planning to begin business expansion operations in Bangladesh. The organisation and HappyHat Ltd., a Bangladeshi company, reached a deal for this.
The details were revealed on Tuesday, October 15, during a news conference held at a hotel in the capital.

D-8 Chamber of Commerce and Industries (D-8CCI) Secretary-General Ashraful Haque Chowdhury spoke at the event as chairman of Nigella World Group. More were present at the time: Laura Akar, Abdullah Atakan Karatas, and Managing Director of Happyhat Ltd., Colonel (Ret. Ahmed Rehanul Bari Chowdhury).

At the event, Happyhat and Nigela World signed a memorandum of understanding. Fatih and Lieutenant Colonel (Retd.) Amhed Rehanul Bari Chowdhury signed an agreement at this point. The chairs of both businesses promised at this time to support the agricultural industry and highlight that by offering modern training, farmers would become more conscious of the need to provide safe food.

According to the press conference, Nigella World, an established company of health products made from multipurpose blackberries, has a strong presence in 63 countries across Europe, North America, and Asia. According to the corporation, the brand is dedicated to supplying food content, skin care, and cosmetics production that is safe, dependable, and of high quality on a global scale. In addition, Nigella World and Happihat Ltd. of Bangladesh will begin cooperating to achieve safe food, fruit, and agricultural production for both local and foreign markets.

Group Chairman Fatih stated that if the government’s policy backing is granted, Turkey’s Nigella World plans to spend $1 billion in Bangladesh during a four-day visit to Dhaka. He stated that he will gradually be improved to $3 billion. Developing human resources, agriculture, and social capital production are areas in which he is interested in investing. Additionally, the group intends to implement blockchain technology through a collaboration with the private university. According to him, Bangladesh’s golden fixtures would use a variety of jute and include eco-friendly fabrics in RMG as a biodegradable product.

Amhed Rehanul Bari Chowdhury said that with the cooperation of Happyhat Ltd., Nigela’s market in Bangladesh and Happyhat’s domestic safe products will play a role in entering the international market. He said that Happihat is producing fresh, healthy fruits, vegetables, and various spices, which are produced in a completely domestic and natural manner. In this case, the products are being contracted to not use any harmful pesticides in food production with local farmers.
