The government has decided to hold the HSC exams of 22 and 24 July on the same day, which were earlier postponed due to the tragic plane crash near Milestone School and College in Uttara.
This update was shared by Education Adviser C R Abrar during a press briefing at the Secretariat on Wednesday afternoon (23 July).
Morning and Afternoon Sessions Planned
Speaking to the reporters, the adviser said
“২২ জুলাইয়ের পরীক্ষা সকালে এবং ২৪ জুলাইয়ের পরীক্ষা একই দিন বিকেলে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।”
(“The exam scheduled for 22 July will be held in the morning, and the exam for 24 July will take place in the afternoon of the same day.”)
Final Date Not Fixed Yet
However, he mentioned that the exact date on which both exams will be held is not finalized yet.
A detailed schedule will be officially announced through a notice soon.

Background: Why Were the Exams Postponed?
The decision to postpone was made following the fighter jet crash on Tuesday (22 July), which resulted in casualties near Milestone School and College in Dhaka. The incident caused national shock and led to widespread protests by students. To maintain order and ensure safety, the exams were called off temporarily.
