What Happened in the Final

Pakistan had a strong start in the final, reaching 113/1. But their innings collapsed quickly, and they were bowled out for just 146 in 19.1 overs. Kuldeep Yadav’s superb bowling (4-30) destroyed Pakistan’s middle order.

While chasing 147, India lost early wickets—Abhishek Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, and Shubman Gill all fell inside the powerplay. But Tilak Varma played a brilliant unbeaten fifty, supported by Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube. Finally, Rinku Singh hit the winning boundary to seal India’s 5-wicket victory.

Dressing Room Drama

Reports say Pakistan players stayed in the dressing room for almost an hour before coming out to collect their awards. This added to the long list of controversies that overshadowed the tournament.
