“Will We Sink Lower Than Awami Era?” – Faham Abdus Salam

Faham Abdus Salam

Recent incidents of public violence have sparked outrage and concern on social media, with many questioning the moral direction of the country after the July mass uprising.

Faham Abdus Salam described witnessing several acts of brutality in a single day — a woman being stripped and beaten in public, a man being attacked with sharp weapons inside an apartment (possibly killed), and several people being beaten on the street. He also mentioned a recent incident where a woman was harassed inside a baby taxi.

Expressing his frustration, Faham wrote:

Translation: “The day is not far when the people of this country will disown the July mass uprising. What hopes I had and what I am seeing now. A woman will be stripped and beaten in the street? Will we sink even lower than the Awami era of ignorance?”
