An unidentified woman, estimated to be around 45 years old, was found unconscious on the footpath in front of the Dhaka Medical College (DMCH) Nursing College on Saturday morning (June 14). She was later declared dead at the hospital.
The incident occurred around 10:30 AM. Bystanders discovered the woman lying unresponsive and immediately took her to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where on-duty doctors pronounced her dead at approximately 11:00 AM.
Md. Zillur Rahman, the ward master of the DMCH outpatient department, said,
“We saw the woman lying unconscious in front of the nursing college and informed the DMCH police camp. With police assistance, she was brought to the emergency unit where doctors confirmed her death.”

Inspector Md. Faruk, in-charge of the DMCH police camp, confirmed the incident and stated that the body has been kept in the hospital morgue. The relevant police station has been informed, and investigations are underway to determine her identity.
As of now, the woman’s name and background remain unknown. Authorities are working to gather more details.
