Yemen Declares Support for Iran and Resistance Groups

The Yemeni Armed Forces have officially joined the ongoing conflict against the US-Israel front. The decision comes in support of the Islamic Republic of Iran and resistance groups operating in Lebanon, Iraq, and Palestine. Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Yahya Saree said in a statement on Saturday:

“In view of the continued military escalation, the targeting of infrastructure, and the perpetration of crimes and massacres against our brothers in Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, and Palestine, we have launched direct military intervention.”

First Missile Operation Against Israel

Yemen carried out its first military operation using a series of ballistic missiles. The missiles targeted sensitive Israeli military sites in southern occupied Palestine. The operation coincided with ongoing military actions by Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon. Yahya Saree said:

“By the grace of Allah Almighty, the operation successfully achieved its objectives.”

He added that the military campaign will continue until all aggression against the resistance fronts ends.

Warning of Direct Intervention if Aggression Continues

Yemen has also warned that it is ready for direct military intervention if the US and Israel continue their attacks. Saree stated that additional triggers for intervention could include participation by other countries in the aggression or using the Red Sea to launch attacks against Iran or any other Muslim nation.

Regional Implications

The escalation comes nearly a month after the US and Israel began what they describe as unprovoked attacks targeting Iran. Yemen’s entry adds a new front in the Middle East conflict and could further destabilize the region.
