A fifth-grade madrasa student of Bhogra, Gazipur had gone to a local studio around 7 pm for a photo session as part of her madrasa assignment, was reportedly raped by a studio worker while posing for photos at Studio Jhilik on sunday evening according to the police.
The accused, Hasan, is the son of Abul Hossain from the Noumala area of Patuakhali. The victim’s father stated that his daughter had gone to the studio for a photo session as part of her madrasa assignment but she didn’t return home after 30 minutes.Concerned, he went to the studio to search her. When he reached the studio, the studio owner wasn’t there but he eventually found and rescued his daughter. At that point, he captured the studio worker, Hasan, and took him to the police station.
Basan Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Mohammad Ali confirmed that Hasan was taken into custody around 7:30 pm on Sunday. He added that the suspect is currently being interrogated, and necessary legal steps are being taken.
