The Indian flag lay at the university entryway on November 27 by BUET students, and some of them crossed it as they arrived. As relations between India and ISKCON are on the rise, the act has generated discussion. Some regard it as insulting, while others see it as a protest. In addition to dividing students, the event has sparked debate regarding political feeling and national symbols. Given the current state of tension in the nation, the exhibit is representative of larger discussions around foreign policy and identity. Regarding the event,BUET officials have not yet responded.

This is the student ideology of Bangladesh. When the Hasina regime fell and students took the baton in their hands, we celebrated as fellow students from India. We cherished every success of them and shared the pain. And they found this as a unique path of protest. How disgusting and unforgivably reprehensible.
I condemn this action and this inglorious bestial poltroon behaviour will define the following time soon.
