Through the Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (CPCA) the European Union functions as its principal framework to develop Bangladesh friendship ties. Ursula von der Leyen showed that the European Union wanted to enhance their partnership with Bangladesh by working together on democratic reforms and sustainable development and climate change initiatives.
Across this agreement the European Union works together with Bangladesh to find solutions for healthcare difficulties and digital developments and climate change adaptation. Both financial funding and technical support from the EU will assist Bangladesh in reaching its development targets.
The EU partnership acknowledges Bangladesh’s increasing regional influence through its assessment of Bangladeshi development capacities. As part of this agreement the European Union shows its commitment to developing Bangladesh into a contemporary sustainable country.
