Bangladesh’s Sumaiya Khan Sets World Record for Eating Rice Grains with Chopsticks

Sumaiya Khan, a 24-year-old from Bangladesh, has set a new world record by eating 37 rice grains in one minute using chopsticks, surpassing the previous record by 10 grains. To achieve this feat, the rules required her to pick up and eat one grain at a time without dropping or flicking it.

Driven by her love for Korean culture and encouraged by a colleague, Sumaiya approached the challenge with confidence, relying on her years of practice eating nearly all her meals with chopsticks. After achieving the record, Sumaiya expressed her pride and joy in having her name recognized globally. Her passion for ramen and daily rice meals fueled her dedication to mastering chopstick skills.

While she is open to pursuing more records in the future, for now, Sumaiya is content and proud of this remarkable accomplishment.
