Dr. Saleh Hasan Naqib, former Vice-Chancellor of University of Rajshahi, shared a thought-provoking message about the future of Bangladesh. He wrote:
“আমি এমন এক বাংলাদেশের কথা ভাবি, যেখানে নাগরিক সমাজ কোন দল বা নেতাকে স্পেইস দেবে না, বরং সরকার, দল এবং নেতারা নাগরিকদের স্পেইস দিতে তৎপর থাকবে।”
Translation: “I imagine a Bangladesh where civil society does not give space to any party or leader; instead, the government, parties, and leaders will be eager to give space to the citizens.”

Saleh hasan Naqib expressed,
“আমরা নেতা বা দল গুনি না। আমরা বুঝি বাংলাদেশ।এই দেশের মানুষের প্রথমেই যেটা ছাড়তে হবে তা হচ্ছে অন্ধ দলীয় আনুগত্য এবং চাটুকারিতা। ”
Translation: “We do not count leaders or parties. We understand Bangladesh. The first thing people of this country must give up is blind party loyalty and flattery.”
